Extend your pattern making skills and learn how to draft a bodice and sleeve block and then turn the block into different styles of blouses.  A basic jacket pattern will also be covered.  List of materials (approximate cost $40) will be sent out before the course starts. For those who have completed a Beginners' course, or equivalent. Dressmaking skills essential.

Make Your Own Roman Blind (Newlands College)

Make a sample in the first session (7 March - 9.30am to 11.30am) under the guidance of our experienced tutor, then go on to complete your own blind on the second full day (21 March - 9.30am to 4.30pm). Bring your sewing machine, a sewing kit, white thread and scissors (and lunch on the second day).
