Learn a variety of techniques to create decorative and functional pieces. Initial clay and glazing/firing costs included in the course fee. Wear suitable clothing. For both beginners and those with some experience. Wellington High School will no longer be offering Pottery classes after the end of Term 2. Courses may be available at the Wellington Potters' Association through Newlands College (474 1330) or Onslow College (477 1118).

Make and decorate your own tiles with highly-glazed or sculptured surfaces for both indoor and outdoor display. Bring along your ideas or interesting pictures from magazines, plus pencil, paper and scissors. Clay, glazes and firing charges included in course fee. |

Find a decorative and fun use for all those shells and other found objects picked up from a day at the beach and create artworks to remember. Concrete mosaic is an alternative and exciting medium to traditional mosaic. List of materials required (approximate cost $30) will be sent out before the course starts. |
