A NZ Coastguard Boating Education introductory course for all members of the crew, including those new to boating. Applies to a wide range of vessels including yachts, launches, powerboats, jet skis, sea kayaks and waka. Includes basic navigation, tides and weather, signposts of the sea, rules and regulations, emergencies and knots, bends and hitches. The fee includes the NZ Day Skipper Manual and the examination registration.  Held at the Wellington Volunteer Coastguard Base Building, Evans Bay Parade.
