Golf - Beginners

Learn the basics of the golf swing and putting, and more about etiquette and the Ambrose playing format. All equipment provided. (Held at the Miramar Golf Club).

Description

An introduction to the basics of the short game (putting, chipping, pitching and bunker shots), followed by the fundamentals of set-up and swing.  You'll also learn more about the equipment, rules and etiquette of this wonderful game.

All equipment provided.  Held at the Miramar Golf Club.  (Please note that additional sessions may need to be added if the weather is bad).

By the end of the course, you'll be able to:
• Play 9 holes of golf with more confidence
• Recall the rules for water hazards, lateral hazards, out of bounds, GUR
• Demonstrate good golf etiquette
• Fill in a score card correctly

Note:  Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel.
