Drawing for the Raw Beginner - Next Step

Extend your drawing skills in this follow-on course and learn more about contour, tone and perspective.

Description

Consolidate your skills as we explore more of the fundamentals, including line, tone, perspective and proportion and develop visual and spacial awareness.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
• Use line to make objects look 3D by understanding contour lines, in both pencil and ink
• Use expressive techniques with tonal drawing (black on white and white on black)
• Use perspective basics: 1 point and 2 point perspective and aerial perspective
• Draw faces by looking at the structure of eyes, nose and mouth and the basic proportions of the head

Bring HB, 2B and 4B pencils, A4 or A3 sketchpad and an eraser. Other materials will cost around $30.

For those who have completed the beginners' course or have some basic drawing experience.
