Keen to give traditional sourdough a go but not sure where to start? Lost your lockdown spark and want to get that starter going again? Find out how to work with the sourdough starter/bug and create a range of fresh bread products. All ingredients included in course fee.

Description

Love sourdough bread (but not the price!) or been given a sourdough starter and have no idea what to do with it? Wonder what to do with all the left-over starter when feeding your bug?

Join our one-day workshop where you’ll make a loaf of sourdough bread, use starter to whip up some light sourdough pancakes for lunch, plus make another sourdough-based recipe. We’ll also talk through hints and tips to keep your starter alive and your bread be delicious each time you cook.

All ingredients included in course fee - a list of other items required will be emailed when the course is confirmed. Not suitable for those who are gluten-free.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll:
• Have made sourdough bread and pancakes
• Understand how to feed and look after a sourdough bug
• Discuss tips and tricks for successful sourdough bread making
• Feel confident to make sourdough bread at home
• Have had fun

Note:  Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel.
