Podcast Creation – An Introduction

Podcasting has proven it is a consistently popular way to share information and stories. In this course you will learn the complete process of planning, recording, editing and publishing your own podcast. From ideation through to the technical aspects of audio gear to use, this course will take you from the outset to having a live podcast! We will explore recording techniques, editing software, and how to add music and intros. We will also look at what the popular platforms are to distribute your podcast on. 

Note: All computer courses are run in the school computer labs and you are required to use the school desktops for the duration of the course (you are not able to use your own laptop).  Some of the courses may require you to login onto the network. 

By the end of this course you will be able to:
*Be able to plan and record a podcast
*Be able to edit and publish your own podcast
*Know which platforms are suited to distributing your podcast
*Be able to use audio gear and use appropriate recording techniques

Note:  Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel.
