Microsoft Excel - Intermediate

Extend your skills with data management and analysis, setting up and using charts/graphs, and creating reports and more.

Description

You'll also learn how to name ranges, customise numbers and consolidate data from multiple work books and improve your knowledge of absolute and relative references. For those who have completed a Beginners' course or equivalent.

A condition of enrolment is that you must provide photo ID when you attend, unless you have already provided your NSN number at the time of registration (in which case photo ID is not required).

All computer courses are run in the school computer labs and you are required to use the school desktops for the duration of the course (you are not able to use your own laptop).  Some of the courses may require you to login onto the network.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have developed your MS Excel spreadsheeting skills in the following areas:
• Use of referencing
• Naming of ranges and cells
• Use of functions
• Create basic graphs/charts
• Formatting charts
• Consolidating data from multiple worksheets

Note:  Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly. If you need to cancel your registration, here are our terms and conditions: "What You Need to Know".
