Need to “step up” and speak to an audience as part of your working life and find it difficult? This course will equip you with strategies to assist and provide opportunities to build your confidence in this role. (Free for NZ citizens/residents - all others pay $109)
Description
Build your skills and confidence in speaking to an audience, whether it’s for a work presentation, a more
formal speech, or part of a performance. In this experiential course, we’ll explore and practise skills to
be better prepared to speak, build rapport with your audience, and deliver content effectively.
By the end of the day’s session, you’ll be given:
- Essential elements of a great talk—from impromptu talks to formal presentations.
- Tools to prepare, organise, practice, and deliver a meaningful, persuasive, and effective
- presentation.
- Actions that build rapport with your audience.
- Strategies to maximise the impact of your words, voice, and body language.
- Mindsets and actions to reduce stage-fright and appear more confident.
- Memory techniques and strategies for impromptu speaking.
