Cooking: Indian Vegan

Indian food is one of the great cuisines of the world and creates robust fully-flavoured vegan dishes. Learn how to create intense and delicious flavours with freshly prepared spices and herbs. All ingredients included in course fee.


Indian cooking expert, Manjula Patel, has assembled a range of vegan Indian dishes for you to learn and enjoy making and eating. In this practical cooking course, you’ll observe dishes being made by Manjula and then work in pairs to create most of these dishes yourselves.

Please note this is a practical cooking class that will not cover vegan philosophy.  Not suitable for people allergic to nuts.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
• Discuss the flavours and spices used in Indian cuisine
• Know where to purchase ingredients for a selection of vegan dishes and finger food
• Read and follow a range of recipes step-by-step
• Create some classic dishes to try again at home

All ingredients included in course fee. Bring an apron, dishcloth, and a couple of tea towels and containers to take any leftovers home.

Note:  Our cooking courses are designed to provide a collaborative and immersive learning experience where learners often work in pairs and/or groups. While we wish to create an inclusive environment for all participants, it is important to note that our courses are unable to accommodate specific food allergies or deviate from the preplanned dishes and menus.
