Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft

Identity theft continues to increase. Many of the steps to prevent identity theft and fraud start with you. This course looks at how it happens and the strategies you can adopt to reduce the risk of you becoming a victim.

Description

With identity theft on the rise reducing the likelihood that you will be targeted is becoming an essential skill.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

  • Recognise when someone is trying to or has stolen your identity
  • Formulate an action plan to deal with the event
  • Explain to people what has occurred
  • Apply strategies to reduce the likelihood and impact of identity theft.

This is an interactive course that will help to unpack this complex topic.
