Small Business Management

A concise, intensive course designed to help you embark on the entrepreneurial journey with minimal capital. Facilitated by a seasoned entrepreneur and lawyer with diverse small business experience—from legal practice to copywriting and drop-shipping—this course demystifies the process of starting and growing your business organically.

You'll explore practical strategies for developing business ideas, financial planning on a tight budget, effective low-cost marketing, regulatory compliance issues (such as health and safety or food safety) and working out where to turn to when you need help along the way. Leave ready to put together a personalised action plan to turn your business concept into reality or take your small business to the next level!

By the end of this course you will be able to:
*Recognise common challenges and pitfalls when entering or running a small business
*Be able to identify and judge the quality of your own business ideas
*Be able to create a concrete business action plan
*Explore legal and compliance implications of running a business

This course will be held at Wellington High School.

Tea and coffee provided for your breaks, please bring your lunch and pen and paper to take notes.
