A junk journal is a book that is handmade from recycled materials and ephemera. Instead of discarding items from your everyday life, give them new meaning and purpose in this altered book. You will come away from this experience with a completed junk journal full of fun embellishments and surprising elements. You will also learn skills and techniques to continue making journals as a mindful activity, for crafting with friends, or to make a gift for someone that is tailored to include the things they love!
These journals are a wonderful way to showcase special moments, celebrate your favourite hobby, person or place and organise your loose items into a beautiful book. They are an excellent visual aid if you are learning a language, planning a holiday or keen to take your photo albums to the next level!
Journaling supplies will be provided, sourced locally from recycled materials. You are welcome to bring along any photos or small mementos you may wish to include in your journal, as well as scissors and a glue stick.
