Communicate Across Generations: Bridge the Divide
This course is free for NZ citizens and residents. Please enrol online and bring photo ID when attending the workshop.

Discover why different generations prioritise different things in their interactions, from family group chats and face-to-face conversations through to workplace attitudes. Learn to decode the nuances, bridge the divides, and foster more effective communication in your daily life.
Learning Outcomes
- Deconstruct Communication Styles: You will be able to identify and describe the typical communication styles, preferences, and values of different generations, including Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z.
- Mitigate Conflict: You will learn to recognise and resolve common intergenerational communication conflicts by understanding their root causes and applying effective conflict resolution strategies.
- Improve Collaboration: You will develop practical skills to adapt your communication approach to better engage with people from different generations, leading to enhanced understanding and connection.
- Foster Inclusivity: You will be able to appreciate and leverage the unique perspectives and strengths that each generation brings to the table, creating more inclusive environments in your relationships.
