Fill the tins -Traditional kiwi baking.
Our grandmothers would never be caught without a selection of home-baked biscuits, a slice or two and at least one type of cake or loaf. Today many of those skills are no longer being passed on.
In this workshop you will get back to basics with some of the Kiwi baking classics which, made well, are delicious and widely loved.
Pastry chef, Sarah Mackenzie will teach you the techniques to make:
A light and moist Banana Cake,
A pretty, delicate Louise Cake and
melt in the mouth Afghans.
All ingredients included in course fee - bring some tins to fill!
