Sometimes, our minds get stuck in habitual thought loops—endlessly cycling through the same worries, fears, and anxieties without ever finding a breakthrough. When words fall short, art therapy offers a different language. By shifting from thinking to creating, we bypass the noise of everyday stress and tap into an intuitive visual language that can surprise us with fresh insights, new perspectives, and profound meaning.
This workshop is a gentle, immersive introduction to a pathway of self-restoration, self-compassion, and self-worth—the vital foundations for true self-healing.
What you will experience:
- A Shift in Perspective: Break free from repetitive thinking by engaging the creative, intuitive side of your brain.
- Tools for Daily Coping: Learn how the simple act of making art can become a sanctuary for processing stress and finding grounding.
- A Pathway to Wholeness: Explore how visual expression can reveal hidden strengths and foster a deeper sense of self-care.
Important Note: You do absolutely not need to be an artist or have any artistic experience to attend. This day is about the process of expression, not the final product. While this workshop is not a substitute for clinical individual or group therapy, it is a powerful, supportive introduction to the healing power of the arts.
What to Bring:
- A journal and a pen or pencil. All other creative materials will be provided. Tea and coffee provided, please bring your lunch and snacks and photo ID.
Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly. If you need to cancel your registration, here are our terms and conditions: "What You Need to Know".
