For beginners who have no prior knowledge of Chinese Mandarin. (NZ Citizens and residents pay $99 with ID, all others pay $199).

Chinese Mandarin - Introductory 1

By the end of the course, you'll be able to:

• Recognise and pronounce some basic Mandarin sounds
• Identify YES/NO questions
• Identify CONTENT questions
• Introduce yourself briefly
• Use some activity verbs
• Use what you've learned to create simple conversations

Please note the focus of the course is on oral communication, not writing Chinese script.

Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly.
