Ayla Blair-Smith depends from Ngāti Apakura, Ngāti Maniapoto, Tūwharetoa, and Ngāi Tahu. She has a background in teaching te reo Māori, and her work in the classroom is fuelled by a deep passion for te reo me ōna tikanga. Ayla is committed to fostering the revitalisation of the language and its cultural significance for future generations.
