Korean - Introductory 1

This course is for those who are interested in Korean language and culture. You can learn how to speak and write Korean and expand your knowledge about Korea through the Korean culture. It will be fun!

Description

Hangeul (Korean Language), Hanbok (Korean traditional clothing), Kimchi and healthy fermented food, K-pop, these all represent Korean culture. Korea is located in the very end of the continent of Asia. Its culture is rich and deep as its history goes back about 5,000 years.

 This course is for those who would like to experience Korean culture and learn Korean language. If you are interested in Korea, it's for you!

A condition of enrolment is that you must provide photo ID when you attend, unless you have already provided your NSN number at the time of registration (in which case photo ID is not required).

 By the end of this course you will be able to:

 - Read and write Korean alphabets.
- Read and write simple sentences in Korean.
- Introduce yourself in Korean.
- Speak daily expressions in Korean at a basic level such as; greetings, jobs, food, shopping, location and so on.
- Understand and use some Korean grammar such as; rules of pronouncing, words for questions, endings of verbs and so on.
- Count numbers in Korean.
- Expand your knowledge about Korean food and etiquette, Korean traditional songs, Korean traditional clothing, Hanbok and traditional game culture.
- Become more confident about the cultural aspects of these topics.

Note:  Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel.
