Baking with Yeast - Sweet Dough

Already attended a yeast baking course and keen to expand your skills? Join Veronika in this new course focussing on sweet doughs flavoured with cinnamon, chocolate and more!

Description

This full day baking workshop will focus on sweet yeast based dough baking.

Expand your baking skills and gain knowledge on how to deal with slightly more complex enriched European-style breads such as cinnamon buns, filled buns, chocolate babka and more.

Shape different products like sweet cinnamon buns and various filled buns, chocolate babka and more.

All ingredients included in course fee, please bring your apron, half a dozen clean tea-towels and bags to take your baking home in.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

- Deal with hand-kneading and master “sticky" doughs
- Shape and proof various types of products
- Learn about different types of yeasts, egg washes, shaping and baking
- Delight family and friends with a repertoire of sweetened breads.

Note:  Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel.
