Crochet - Christmas Special!

In this half day crochet special, you will get the patterns to make stars, and icicles, mini wreaths, a mini Christmas jumper, Christmas tree and gifts bunting and a cute mini Christmas hat. Please bring some 4 or 8 ply smooth yarn and a crochet hook - see full description for suitable types of yarn.

Description

Join Monique in this half-day crochet workshop where you will learn how to crochet a range of little projects suitable for the holiday season.  Choose from stars, icicles, mini wreaths and Christmas jumpers, Christmas trees and a mini Santa hat!   There will be a booklet of patterns for you to take home, to enable you to complete in your own time the projects that you didn’t have time to make during the workshop.

You will also learn how to crochet and decorate Christmas baubles!  While you might not finish all the patterns this day, the aim is to have a go at making as many as possible!

You will need to know some basic crochet stitches such as single and double crochet. You’ll also need to have some understanding of how to read a pattern and work with diagrams, as taught in the beginners’ crochet course.

Please bring yarn that you enjoy working with (cotton, acrylic or wool, 4ply or 8 ply) in a variety of colours (red, white and green, a neutral colour for the mouse, and glittery yarns are all good options for the Christmas projects) and a matching crochet hook. You’ll also need a pair of scissors and a darning needle.

Note:  Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly. If you need to cancel your registration, here are our terms and conditions: "What You Need to Know".
