This course is free for NZ citizens and residents.  Please enrol online and bring photo ID when attending the workshop.

 You’ll develop a tailored job search strategy that works for you. One that has purpose, highlights your transferable skills, sharpens your professional image, and helps you connect authentically with hiring managers. From crafting a digital-ready CV and setting job alerts, to working with recruiters and networking effectively, you’ll gain tools and insights to streamline the process.

 The course also addresses the emotional journey of job hunting. Learn to manage time and energy, stay adaptable, and build resilience as you face the highs and lows of searching for the right opportunity. You’ll explore how emotional intelligence, digital literacy, and critical thinking play essential roles in first impressions, interviews, and long-term career decisions.

NOTE: This course is subsidised with funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and you must provide photo ID when you attend your session, if applicable.

 This course does not deep dive into CV or interview preparing materials. If you need a more focussed session on CVs, cover letter writing or job interview preparation, make sure to attend the other Get The Job courses.
