Write Well [ESOL Levels 3 and 4]
Course is free for NZ citizens and residents (please bring photo ID when attending workshop). If you are not a NZ citizen or resident a fee of $169 will apply, please phone the office on 04 385 8919 to register.
Improve your writing by working on sentence and paragraph construction to make your communication clearer and more accurate.
By the end of the course, you’ll have had practice in:
• Recognising and using different types of sentences
• Writing a well-constructed paragraph
• Writing longer texts with an introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion
• Using linking adverbs and conjunctions
If you are enrolling with us for the first time, please contact the CEC office (04 385 8919) first so that we can check the level of your English to make sure that you are in the correct class.
NOTE: This course is subsidised with funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and you must provide photo ID when you attend your first session, if applicable.
Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly. Prerequisites
For ESOL students at levels 3 and above (those who can usually understand native speakers and can make themselves understood in unfamiliar situations).
