Microsoft Excel - Advanced
Learn more advanced features of Excel, including pivot tables and data validation.
Description
For those who have completed the Intermediate course or equivalent - you must be competent using Excel formulas and formatting.
A condition of enrolment is that you must provide photo ID when you attend.
All computer courses are run in the school computer labs and you are required to use the school desktops for the duration of the course (you are not able to use your own laptop). Some of the courses may require you to login onto the network.
By the end of the course, you'll have had an introduction to the more advanced features of MS Excel, including how to:
• Manage lists: sort and filter
• Create a pivot table from an existing set of data
• Create custom date formats
• Analyse data: goal seek, data tables and scenario manager
Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly.
