This course will give you some basic painting and drawing skills to capture these observations and discuss some ideas for sketchbook layouts to tell the story. Using the classic rules of proportion you will develop the skills to draw a portrait of a person following the steps and techniques to develop skills. You will use a pencil to draw a live model from various angles and from photographs and finally complete a portrait in watercolour paints.
